Motorcycle CarPlay Display Firmware Upgrade Steps

At CarPlayMotorcycle.com (CPMC), we regularly release firmware updates to improve system performance, add new features, and optimize the user experience of our Motorcycle CarPlay and Android Auto screens. If you’ve purchased your device from our official website, you can easily upgrade the firmware yourself by following this step-by-step guide.

Please note: this tutorial applies only to the models sold on CarPlayMotorcycle.com. It is not applicable to products or models not listed on our website.

Firmware Upgrade Instructions:


This Firmware Upgrade for P7/B6/B7 Models

1. Downlaod the Burning Software and Extract the files

Create a new folder in your computer. Download the PhoenixCard burning tool and extract its contents directly into the newly created folder.

2. Run the upgrade tool

Open the folder and double-click PhoenixCard.exe to launch the tool.

3. Connect the hardware

  • Insert a MicroSD card into a card reader
  • Plug the reader into your computer

4. Open the software interface

The PhoenixCard interface will appear as shown below:


5. Select the firmware file

Click the pop-up dialog box and choose the firmware file to upgrade.


6. Configure burn mode

  • Select “Card Mass Production” mode
  • Click “Burn” to begin writing the firmware to your TF card

7. Complete the upgrade

  • Insert the TF card into your device
  • Power on the device to start the automatic upgrade (a progress bar will appear)

    Once the upgrade is complete:

  • Power off the device
  • Remove the TF card
  • Power on again to boot normally

Firmware Upgrade for Z55B Model


MicroSD Card Upgrade Procedure:

1. Format the MicroSD card

Insert the MicroSD card into the Z55B device and format it, or format it using a computer. After formatting, insert MicroSD card back into the device to confirm it can record video normally.

2. Copy the upgrade files

Extract the downloaded firmware package and copy all files from the folder to the formatted MicroSD card.

3. Perform the upgrade

  • Power off the Z55B device
  • Insert the MicroSD card containing the upgrade files
  • Power on the device and wait for the upgrade to complete

The system will automatically reboot once the process is finished.

Tip: After completing the firmware upgrade on your Z55B device, you can use the OTA procedure for future updates to keep your system up to date easily.

OTA Upgrade Procedure

1. Make sure the target device has a TF card inserted and that your smartphone is connected to mobile data with the Motonavi app installed. (Register an account if necessary.)

2. Open the Motonavi app, tap the OTA option on the main screen, and follow the instructions to start the OTA upgrade. The app will transfer the upgrade package to your device.

3. After the upload is complete, the device will display an upgrade prompt. Confirm the upgrade and wait until it finishes. Do not use or operate the device during the upgrade process.
