Before You Buy: Choose the Right Bracket for Your CarPlay Screen

The CPMC quick-release bracket provides a secure and convenient way to mount your motorcycle display while allowing you to easily remove the screen when you park or leave your bike.

Two bracket options are available. Choose the one that best matches your motorcycle and the features you need.

BMW Protocol Bracket

Choose the BMW Protocol Bracket if your BMW motorcycle has factory Navigation Preparation and you want to use BMW's native Wonder Wheel controls with your CarPlay display.

With supported BMW motorcycles, the BMW Protocol Bracket provides:

• Wonder Wheel control — control compatible functions on your CPMC display using BMW's original rotary controller.
• BMW vehicle data integration — display supported motorcycle information such as speed, RPM, gear position, and more.
• OEM-style installation — designed to fit neatly into the original BMW navigation mounting position.
• Quick-release design — easily remove your CPMC screen when leaving your motorcycle.

Compatible with: BMW models featuring the factory Navigation Preparation (GPS Connector / Navigation Power Connector) — including R1200GS, R1250GS, R1300GS, S1000XR, F850GS, F900GS, and many more.

Please note: BMW-specific functions such as Wonder Wheel control and vehicle data integration require a compatible BMW motorcycle and the BMW Protocol Bracket.

Universal Bracket (No BMW Protocol)

Choose the Universal Bracket if you do not need BMW protocol integration or Wonder Wheel control.

The Universal Bracket offers a simple and flexible mounting solution for compatible CPMC displays:

• Simple installation — mount your CPMC screen without BMW protocol integration.
• Quick removal — easily detach the screen when parking or leaving your motorcycle.
• Wide compatibility — suitable for a variety of motorcycles and mounting setups.
• No BMW protocol required — ideal for riders who only need a secure mounting solution for their CPMC display.

Please note: The Universal Bracket does not support BMW Wonder Wheel control or BMW vehicle data integration.
