If you own a 2025 or 2026 BMW and are using our CPMC B6 or B7 motorcycle CarPlay screen, and you have experienced an issue where the unit automatically switches from NAV mode back to TFT mode and disconnects every 15 to 30 minutes, we've heard you. And we now have an optimized firmware update to resolve this issue.
Please follow the steps below to update your device.
Firmware Update Instructions:
1. Insert a TF card into your device
Go to: Settings → Format TF Card (format the card inside the device)
2. Insert the formatted TF card into your computer
3. Copy the below firmware file he_app.bin onto the TF card
4. Insert the TF card back into your device and power it on
After boot-up, go to:
Settings → Version → Check if the firmware version has been updated to B05
Once the version shows B05, the update is complete. The auto-disconnect issue should now be resolved.
